Free and Reduced Lunch Information

Please review the parent letter for information regarding the completion of this application. Prompt completion of this application will ensure early approval. You must pay the regular price for any meals purchased before the application is approved. A new application must be filed every year. You must complete the Standard Fee Waiver Application located in this packet to be considered for a text-fee reduction. These are due before October, 2018. Any family directly certified through DHS will not be required to complete the Iowa Eligibility Application but will need to complete the Standard Fee Waiver Application when you register your child(ren). 

 

Meal Pricing

Starmont offers healthy meals every day. Breakfast costs $1.60 in K - 5th Grades and $1.85 in 6th - 12th Grades. Lunch costs $2.65 in K - 5th Grades and $2.80 in 6th - 12th Grades. Your children may qualify for free meals/mlik or for reduced-priced meals. Reduced price is $0.30 for breakfast and $0.40 for lunch.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address,  telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient  detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an  alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA  by:
